How to Prevent Skin Damage in Summer Heat

Summer Skin Damage: Causes and Prevention Tips
Hot weather, high humidity, and intense sun exposure can wreak havoc on your skin. Without proper summer skincare, you risk sun damage, dehydration, acne breakouts, and premature aging.
Here’s how your skin suffers in the heat—and what you can do to protect it.
1. UV radiations cause sunburn and aging, damaging the collagen and skin cells, therefore, use high SPF sunscreen and reapply every 2 hours.
2. The scorching summer heat dehydrates and makes your skin absolutely dull; therefore, drink plenty of water and use a hydrating moisturizer with hyaluronic acid or glycerin.
3. Humidity leads to oily skin and causes sweat, which clogs the pores; therefore, use oil-free, non-comedogenic products.
4. Moreover, heat causes rash and blocks the sweat glands therefore, wear breathable fabrics, and apply aloe vera or a cool compress.
